Delete Your Account

Delete it yourself, right away

In the Duet app: open your Profile, then tap Delete Account at the bottom.
On the web: sign in at getduet.app/app, open your Profile, then choose Delete Account.

Deletion happens immediately. Guests can do this too (the button says Delete Guest Data).

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your profile (display name, email, profile photo)
Your friends list and pending requests
Your recent connections and last-partner history
Your invitations, online status, and settings
Your push notification tokens
Your usage history and email records
Your uploaded avatar image
Your entry in your friends' lists and in the recent connections of people you've talked with
Your sign-in account itself

Room data is already deleted when everyone leaves a room, or automatically once no one has been connected to it for a while. Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, and usage analytics are kept by Google Analytics for Firebase under its data-retention setting; neither contains your name or email address.

Can't sign in any more?

Send us a request by email instead.

Emailed requests are handled by our team. We aim to delete your data within 30 days and will reply to confirm when it's done. If you have questions, contact hello@getduet.app.
